About the memorial: Stone memorial tablet commemorating those employees who were killed in the V1 attack on the Elmers End bus garage on 18 July 1944. Originally at the entrance to the garage. On the garage's closure in 1986, the memorial was moved to Langley Park. From there it was moved to the LT Museum Depot at Gunnersbury, and then to the London Transport Museum at Covent Garden, where it is on display.
