About the memorial: Rectangular commercially-printed Roll of Honour, with a single-line red border, and a red cross at top-centre above the printed words 'Roll of Honour' in black letters (but with leading red letters). Beneath are three columns of hand-written names: the first two columns list the names of those who survived their WW1 service; the third column lists eight WW1 casualties and three WW2 casualties. (Note: One man listed on this Roll of Honour as a WW1 casualty, J. Waterfield, was omitted from the parish's cairn memorial; however, the Roll of Honour omitted three WW1 casualties who were named on that cairn memorial: W.G. Brailsford, F. White and C. Wain. A WW2 casualty named John Vaughan Lewtas was listed on the Roll of Honour as 'Vaughan Lewtas'; he was commemorated on the cairn memorial, on which his surname was misspelt as 'Leutus'. Our record of the cairn memorial is WMO/200097.
