About the memorial: An addition to the lettering on a stone on a family grave. The tall limestone headstone has a pointed arch top with a plain border and ivy leaves with an open book in relief in a trefoil panel at the head, the book bearing the words THY WILL BE DONE. The inscription is inlaid in upright capital block and gothic lettering and the maker's name is inlaid at the foot. The gravestone is west of the church. CWGC give the date of death as 17 October, as against 18 October on the gravestone.
