About the memorial: Major Frederick William Wragg, Lieutenant Norman John Wragg and Major General Frank Crowther Roberts VC. A large family grave plot surrounded by stone kerbs and posts with a metal chain and containing a granite wheel cross on a stepped pedestal and stone plinth. The cross is decorated on the two aces with Celtic designs of bosses and whorls. The pedestal bears several bronze plaques with raised inscriptions in upright capital lettering. It is in the north eastern corner of the Churchyard. Note that Major General Frank Crowther Roberts VC is only included in the title because he was awarded the VC and this gravestone includes family members who were war casualties. Otherwise, as he survived the war this would not be a stand alone memorial to him
