About the memorial: 1st plaque: A brass plaque with decorative outline framed on the wooden backboard. The inscription is in caps sans serif with the year of war below. Names are placed in three categories; later parishioners, official chaplain and those who gave their lives. All names are carved in black with alphabetical ordered by surname. 2nd plaque: A brass plaque framed on the wooden backboard which indicated the dedication of this war memorial, listed the name of the people and date. Google maps treats this location as Glengormley.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
