About the memorial: A glazed and framed roll of honour. At the head is a composite image comprising a Union Flag draped over a triangular support with a superimposed badge of a royal crown and a winged anchor, all flanked by a Royal Air Force Ensign to the right and a version of the White Ensign to the left. [The Union Flag, the RAF Ensign and the White Ensign represent the British Army, the RAF and the Royal Navy respectively, whilst the crowned winged anchor could represent a number of military units.] Above the image is a ribbon bearing the name of the club and below it is a ribbon bearing the title. Below this image is a depiction of a heraldic shield between two fluted columns which surmount a base with silhouettes of military vehicles above it. The capitals of the columns bear the dates of the Second World War and the bottom right corner of the base bears the name of the maker. The names on the shield are in black gothic calligraphy. The roll is bordered by a maroon card and a metal frame. The memorial is on the west wall of the entrance porch.
