About the memorial: A brick and tile memorial hall with three cream coloured ceramic tablets set into the brickwork of the gable wall. The upper tablet is in the style of a curved strip scroll assembled from four pieces, and the central tablet is a crucifix. The lower tablet is assembled from three pieces and forms a horizontal oblong with a moulded cornice and frieze across the head and an inverted cornice and plain frieze at the foot. The centre of the lower panel has a stepped panel with the inscription and with the names in three columns. The frieze bears the names of the vicar and churchwardens at the right. The inscription is in mixed styles of raised capital lettering. Access to the hall is from a track on the Western side of Chaddesden Lane half way between Ismay Road and Tudor Road. The memorial is on the Southeast gable of the hall.
