About the memorial: Additional wording to the inscription on a family gravestone. The gravestone comprises a tall black granite headstone with a decorative pediment top, recessed sides and an incised inscription in capital block lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong granite plinth and an oblong sandstone base and is accompanied by oblong sandstone kerbs. The memorial is east of the chapel, between the path and the road boundary. He was from Glossop.
