About the memorial: Additional wording on a white marble family gravestone comprising a cross on a three-stepped base. The latin cross has a quatrefoil panel at the centre bearing a christograph in relief. The oblong base has three steps with flat tops and bears inscriptions on the faces inlaid in mixed styles of upright capital lettering. The memorial is accompanied by oblong kerbs and two recumbent tablets, each with bases. It is towards the southeast corner of the cemetery, about 100 metres from the chapels. This grave is Staff Nurse Fletcher's war grave recognised by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, so is not classed as a war memorial to her. The additional inscription to Charles Fletcher, however, is a war memorial to him. Note that the gravestone incorrectly has her year of death as 1917. That should have read 1918.
