About the memorial: Additional wording on a family memorial comprising a sandstone cross on a three stepped base. At the centre of the plain Latin cross is a Christograph in relief within a quatrefoil panel. The plain oblong steps have shallow bevelled tops and bear inscriptions on the 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock faces incised in upright, capital, mainly block lettering. However, the conjoined cross and top step have become detached and laid back against the 12 o'clock face. It is Southwest of the chapel, close to the southern boundary.
