About the memorial: Additional wording on a sandstone family memorial comprising a cross on a three-stepped base. The Latin cross has a shield at the centre bearing a much eroded inscription in relief, and a garland of ivy draped around it and down the front. The base bears an inscription on the 12 o'clock face inlaid in upright capital block lettering. The mason's details were inlaid at the bottom left corner of the lowest step, but are now lost. The memorial surmounts a stone foundation and is accompanied by oblong kerbs but they are mainly lost or disturbed. It is Southwest of the chapel and just south of the main path.
