About the memorial: A framed and glazed roll of honour with a printed design of red poppies against a yellow and blue background and a central column of names printed in upright sentence-case roman lettering.. The glazed roll is mounted in a wooden frame. The memorial is on the north wall of the chancel. There is also a modern Book of Remembrance which is usually displayed in the Choir Stalls. It is a comb-bound book of paper pages printed from a word processor and containing biographical details of many service personnel who were engaged in WW1 and some who were in WW2. The biographies are enhanced by extracts from press articles, photographs etc. By definition it is NOT a war memorial in it's own right, but is a valuable adjunct to the memorial.
