About the memorial: An addition to a grey granite headstone on a family grave. The headstone has a flat top with stepped corners, rebated side panels bearing geometric designs in relief and a battered face bearing the inlaid inscription in upright capital block lettering. The headstone surmounts two sets of kerbstones, the outer one of sandstone and the inner one of grey granite bearing a further inlaid inscription. A square granite vase is positioned on the surface of the grave. It is north of the church, near the middle of the graveyard, east of the path.
