About the memorial: Mural painted on the gable end of a house which shows graphic blitz scenes. More recently Belfast City Council have added one of a series of metal plaques. Like many of these plaques the number of 40 lives lost is debateable. 37 residents of the street died here. A further three from nearby streets were injured on the street and died later at hospital.
