About the memorial: Relocated from Woolwich Garrison, London to Larkhill, Wiltshire and erected on the Memorial Wall outside St Alban the Martyr Garrison Church. Son of the late Lt Col Keppel Stephenson and of Helena M Stephenson, of Langham Hall, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. He was educated at Eton College. Played cricket for I.Z., M.C.C., and Suffolk Borderers. He is buried in grave 3.H.8 of Chauny Communal Cemetery British Extension, Chauny, Departement de l'Aisne, Picardie, France (see Find a Grave memorial 55918099). He is also commemorated on the Eton College WW1 Memorial.
