About the memorial: An addition to a white marble memorial on a family grave. The stone currently comprises an oblong pillar on an oblong plinth accompanied by plain oblong kerbs, but a socket on the top contains the remains of a finial or cross which is now lost. The inlaid inscription is in upright and sloping capital block lettering. CWGC give the date of death as 1 May as opposed to 2 May on the gravestone

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
