About the memorial: A two-light stained glass window. The two lancet lights have a canopy of blue and gold at the head and stone arches with flowers and foliage at the foot. The left light contains an image of Christ carrying a lamb with his right arm and holding a shepherd's crook with his left hand. The right light contains an image of Christ wearing a crown and holding a lantern in the style of Holman Hunt's painting 'The Light of the World'. Below each image the caption is in green upright capital lettering. Across the foot of both lights an unfurled scroll contains the inscription in black sentence case gothic lettering. The makers' name is written on the border of the left light.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
