About the memorial: A nowy-headed bronze wall plaque with the badge of the Sherwood Foresters at the head. The inscription is in upright raised capital roman lettering. It is on the western side of the road, on the stone wall north of the Clay Cross war memorial (WMO/109540) outside St Bartholomew's Church. The memorial at Crich Hill mentioned in the dedicatory wording is WMO/121794.
