About the memorial: An addition to the inscription on a memorial on a family grave. The memorial comprises a grey granite wheel cross on a stepped pedestal and plinth accompanied by oblong stone kerbs. The face of the cross has a central boss and bears foliage and interlaced strapwork in relief in the celtic or anglo-saxon style. The inscription is inlaid in different styles of upright, capital block lettering on the faces of the pedestal. However the memorial has settled and leans to the right at a pronounced angle It is about 40 metres south of the lodge.
