About the memorial: A tower screen, a clock and a tablet. The wrought iron art nouveau tower screen is at the west end of the nave and comprises six upright trelliswork pillars joined at the top by a frieze spanning the foot of the tower. The three pillars each side are joined by further waist-high ironwork trellising and the central opening has a pair of ironwork gates similar in style. The frieze bears raised swirls of foliage with the inscription at the centre and a symbol above each pillar: either a chi-rho, a Christograph or a star of David. At the head of each pillar, below the respective symbols, is a metal plate bearing the details of the six fallen in white painted upright capital Roman lettering. A red fabric curtain is affixed to the rear of the screen. The clock mechanism is presumed to be inside the tower and the face is displayed on the outside of the west face on a black dial with gilt hands, minute marks and Roman numerals. The horizontal white marble tablet has a cornice at the head decorated with an egg and dart motif. Above it is a low plain pediment containing a gilt Chi-Rho emblem at its centre. At the foot is a pair of moulded brackets. The incised inscription is in upright capital block lettering coloured black. The memorial tablet is same design and wording as the memorial in St Giles Marston Montgomery WMO/292974. Names in two groups "THE ONE SHALL BE TAKEN" - those who died. "AND THE OTHER LEFT" - those who served. The screen is included specifically in the English Heritage listing. The screen is at the west end of the nave, the clock is in the tower and the tablet is on the north wall of the nave.
