About the memorial: Panelled oak mural board. The Royal coat of arms is at top left. There is an oakleaf border finely carved in bold relief. The Hospital was then known as the Salop Orthopaedic Hospital. There has been much redevelopment at the Hospital. It would be useful if someone could confirm (or otherwise) the continued existence of this Memorial. There are various other memorials to the Duke of Kent on this website, although, from memory, we don't have them all. The 'plane accident in question was in the far north of Scotland.
