About the memorial: Roll of Service [effectively a Book of Remembrance]. This was originally part of the Complex memorial scheme on WMO/177616 but has now been taken to it's own report as it was relocated to Carlisle Archives in 2010, where it is reference DS4/14/19. It is paper bound in what feels like a calf skin cover. The opening page covers the staff, the other 102 pages the old boys of the School. A huge amount of biographical detail is given. Names are arranged in alphabetical order of surname. Those who fell have their names boxed around. There are a total (according to the documentation) of 842 names. It does not seem to be sensible or practicable to list them all here or to photograph each page of the book, but if a relative is known to have had links with Carlisle it is good advice to check this book. If that policy particularly grieves someone then the book can be photographed. The names include D E J Brochard of the Czech Air Force.
