About the memorial: This church is up for sale and I don't know what is happening to the memorials that were inside. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/125130923 This is my listing from the Barnsley & District War Memorials website. This includes an old photo from the programme when the memorials (there are two) were unveiled. Plus the inscriptions and names. http://www.barnsleywarmemorials.org.uk/2014/04/cudworth-wesleyan-methodist-church.html http://www.barnsleywarmemorials.org.uk/2014/04/cudworth-wesleyan-methodist-church_5.html The second memorial is specifically for one man, Harold Porter, who is mentioned on the main plaque (see my listing above) A friend was able to take photographs of the two memorials on the site shortly before the church closed, but the plaques were very shiny and have obviously been well polished over the years. He noted that the person who showed him around was unaware that the plaques were war memorials.
