About the memorial: Additional wording to the inscription on a white marble family gravestone comprising a cross on a three-stepped base and oblong kerbs. The Latin cross has a Christograph at the centre and the base has a bevelled top to each of the steps. The inscription is inlaid on the faces of the steps in mainly upright capital block lettering. However, the cross and base have settled and are leaning forwards over the grave, and the kerbs have been displaced. The memorial is northeast of the lodge, south of the path and next to it.
