About the memorial: A brass plaque in an oaken frame. The upright oblong brass plaque has a thin incised border and an incised inscription in upright capital decorative lettering with the names in two columns. The border, some internal partitioning lines and the inscription are all coloured black. The oaken frame has a rounded border. The Church, which was on the northern side of the road in the centre of Littleover opposite the Shepherd Street junction, was closed in 1957 and demolished in 1965. The plaque then passed through a succession of ownerships before coming into the hands of Littleover Historical Society in 2018, who placed it in the hall.
