About the memorial: A recumbent oblong white marble tablet on the surface of the grave bearing an inlaid inscription in upright capital roman lettering. It is unclear whether the tablet was once a headstone or footstone or was intended to lie on the surface. The remains of kerbs and a possible headstone lie nearby.
