About the memorial: An addition to a memorial stone on a family grave. The memorial comprises a white marble headstone accompanied by a footstone and kerbs. The headstone is in the style of a scroll unfurled over a classical wall which has carved shields and sprays of foliage at each side. The inscription is inlaid in a variety of styles in mainly capital letters on the surface of the scroll and on the integral plinth of the wall. The headstone surmounts a plain oblong white marble base with bevelled top and the oblong kerbs have inscriptions inlaid in upright capital lettering on the upper surface. The footstone has a shallow arch top with stepped shoulders and a supporting pillar on each side. The inscription is inlaid in various styles of lettering. It is towards the northern edge of the churchyard, near the main path.
