About the memorial: A white limestone tablet added to a family grave. A white limestone headstone comprises a Latin cross, with chamfered edges and a Christograph inlaid at the centre, surmounting a square pedestal with moulded top, foliage decoration on the faces and a white marble tablet with cloverleaf top on the 6 o'clock face bearing an inlaid inscription in mixed styles of upright lettering. The plain oblong added tablet lies on the surface of the grave and bears an inlaid inscription in upright capital block lettering. The whole is accompanied by plain oblong white limestone kerbs. After the war he was re-interred in Jakarta War Cemetery.
