About the memorial: A group of four stained glass windows in the south wall of the former church. Each lancet window is comprised of mainly plain oblong panes of pastel shades of blues, greens, pink or clear glass with a few clusters of decorative geometrical shapes in deeper colours. Two of the windows each contain an oblong panel bearing the inscription in upright capital roman lettering. The redundant church (closed c 1968) was converted to private apartments about 2015 and is now private property with no access available. The windows have been retained in the south wall but are no longer accessible. Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
