About the memorial: Additional wording on a limestone headstone on a family grave. The headstone has a moulded cornice over a rounded arch top and stepped shoulders, with a laurel wreath in relief at the head and fleurons in relief at the top corners. The recessed sides have scrolls and sprays of ivy at the foot and the proud face bears an inlaid inscription in different styles of mainly upright capital lettering. The headstone surmounts a plain limestone base with bevelled top and is accompanied by plain oblong limestone kerbs. It is north west of the church, on the right side of the central path when walking up the hill.
