About the memorial: A framed and glazed print after Margaret Tarrant depicting a woodland scene of children with several mammals observing children as angels bearing flowers and fruit. Bands at the head and foot bear the lines ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL, ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL/ ALL THINGS WISE & WONDERFUL, THE LORD GOD MADE THEM ALL. A caption at the foot bears the inscription in mixed styles of lettering. It was originally at Rockingham Road Infants School, Corby, it is them believed to have been in a local (but unspecified) non-conformist Church, and was later purchased by the present owner from an antique dealer in Weedon. It has become rather faded and when last recorded in 2019 was in storage (not on display) at the Public House.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
