About the memorial: A stained glass window of three ogee-headed lights in a segmental arch opening. In the centre light is a depiction of St Michael in golden armour, with wings of purple and blue, vanquishing a green dragon. In the left light is an image of St George in silver armour, a blue cloak, and holding a sword, and in the right light is St Louis of France in blue robes and holding a sceptre. Below the figures is a Biblical quotation in upright capital roman lettering on a ribbon flowing across all three lights and at the foot is the commemorative inscription in black sentence case sloping lettering, again spanning all three lights. Above the lights are six ogee-headed panes set into the tracery. Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
