About the memorial: A three-panelled oaken board with a projecting centre panel, a cornice at the head and a shelf at the foot. The cavetto cornice has a fleuron motif repeated at spaced intervals and the central section has pendant tracery below. The frame of the centre panel has hollow internal chamfers with the spaced fleuron motif again repeated and the panel bears a carved crucifix with the cross painted red. The two side panels bear inscriptions and names painted in black upright capital roman lettering. The opening initials of the inscriptions are in enlarged gilded letters and they are accompanied by a small gilded laurel spray and wreath. The shelf at the foot is supported on four plain brackets and is used for the placement of tributes. The road is known locally as Church End. The memorial is on the east wall inside the porch.
