About the memorial: A freestanding white marble tablet on a family grave. The family memorial originally comprised a white marble statue of a small girl on a square two-stepped base but the statue has now been detached and stands separately on the surface of the grave, and has lost the head and an arm. The base bears inlaid inscriptions on several faces in upright capital lettering. The war memorial is a low white marble oblong tablet with a bullnosed top also bearing an inlaid inscription in upright capital lettering. The family and war memorials are accompanied by oblong kerbs but three corner kerbstones also placed on the grave are thought to belong elsewhere. It is towards the eastern end of the cemetery. CWGC give his name as Charles Mumby Dixon as against Charles Munro Dixon on the gravestone
