About the memorial: An addition to a memorial on a family grave. The white marble headstone has a triangular arch top with a pilaster on each side and the badge of the Rifle Brigade in relief in a trefoil shaped panel at the head. It surmounts an oblong white marble base with bevelled top and is accompanied by white marble kerbs which are oblong with the outer edges chamfered and the inscription on the top surface. The inscriptions are in different styles of inlaid lettering. It is just southwest of the centre of the cemetery.
