About the memorial: An addition to a memorial on a family grave. The grave has white marble kerbs with inscriptions on the inner chamfered face. Also laid flat on the surface of the grave is a plain Latin cross with a further inscription. The inlaid inscriptions are in different styles of upright capital lettering. It is West of the centre of the cemetery. He was born in Cheltenham
