About the memorial: An addition to a memorial on a family grave. The granite headstone has a rounded arch top, chamfered sides and a thin incised line border. The incised inscription is mainly in upright capital Roman lettering. The headstone is attached to an oblong granite base with a bevelled top, but has been laid on its back on the surface of the grave which also has oblong stone kerbs with a chamfered edge. Leaning against the recumbent headstone is a small white marble cross with an inlaid inscription in upright capital block lettering, some of which is missing. It is not clear whether the cross belongs to the grave or has been misplaced. It is just west of the centre of the cemetery.
