About the memorial: Unusually-shaped marble headstone located top-centre of a triple-width family plot with substantial marble kerbstones and corner posts. The plot is covered by crazy-paving and has a recumbent, rectangular gravestone in the top-left corner. The main gravestone's vertical sides initially slope outward at a narrow angle, then transition with a curve to an inward slope; the top edge features two small steps on each side and a curved top. The dedications are in raised, black, capital script.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
