About the memorial: An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The headstone is an oblong black polished granite tablet with a flat moulded top and a projecting panel to the left bearing a design of a plant stand in relief with a hole above for plants. The headstone is accompanied by plain rectangular black granite kerbs and a black granite vase. The inscriptions on the headstone and vase are incised and gilded in upright capital roman lettering and the maker's name is incised on the foot of the kerbs. It is towards the southwest corner of the cemetery.
