About the memorial: A wrought iron 4 legged stand. St Peter's Church was severely damaged by fire in 2014 and the fate of this memorial is not known. The church is undergoing restoration at the time of writing this.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

The wrought-iron work in this church was given by Edith A. Norgate in memory of her husband Frank M. Norgate who died on July 17th 1954 aged 60 years & of her son Morris J. Norgate, Sergeant, R.A.F. killed in action 7th February 1943. "God's greatest gift - Remembrance"
