About the memorial: Small plaque on strucure of Dr French Memorial home is being sold and renovated to a private residence.Some memorial articles inside have being lost due to building work? Plaque at entrance right hand side of door. Doctor French Memorial Home, Nether Street N12 opened 1947 in memory of Dr French’s Son Second Lieutenant *Robert French, aged 18 who lost his life on the Somme, France in WW1 15th September 1916 no known grave.
