About the memorial: Four light stained glass window with a figure of Christ in Majesty in a hexafoil at the apex, and angels in quatrefoils below. The outer lights each feature soldiers as knights in armour, representing the brothers commemorated. Both carry a lance with a red pennant bearing a Cup of Sacrifice, and a sword. The left-hand figure holds his sword upright, perhaps signifying he died wielding it in battle, while the right-hand figure hold it at rest, perhaps signifying he did not die in action. The left-hand of the figures between portrays a saint bearing symbols of pilgrimage - a staff and flask, and a shell as a badge, whilst the right hand figure portrays a saint dressed as a priest, holding a chalice. Above the figures appear the words 'Fortitude - Faith - Love - Endurance'. Beneath each of the soldiers appears their Regimental badge, of the Sherwood Foresters, beneath a scroll bearing indecipherable words. A Latin dictum appears below the two centre figures. The dedication is inscribed along the bottom of the windows. There is an associated brass plaque on the side of the organ.
