About the memorial: Large, unusually-shaped cross on three square plinths. The plinths are located at the back of a double-width, family plot with the corner edges facing forward. The square-section of the vertical part of the cross is similarly oriented with a corner-edge facing forward. The square-section of the horizontal part of the cross is similarly oriented with a corner-edge facing forward. The plot is surrounded with substantial semi-chamfered kerbstones and corner posts and also has a large funerary urn. The dedications on all three plinths are in raised, white, plain (upper-case) and gothic (lower-case) scripts.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
