About the memorial: The Poppy of Honour Memorial has encased inside 1,117,635 individual remembrance poppies each one was handwritten with the Rank, Name and Date of every British and Commonwealth Serviceman/Woman listed as KIA/MIA by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission during World War 1.
