About the memorial: See Comment of 15/3/24 regarding the location of this memorial. Six lights plus tracery. Flanking marble tablets with names. Inscriptions at base of four lights. School and town coats of arms in tracery. Light 1 - Battle Front. Light 2 - Soldiers and Sai8lors before Christ on cross. Light 3 - Marching sailors with harbour in background. Light 4 - Monk receiving children at a doorway, possible reference to origin of school. Light 5 - King Charles I receiving a petition. Light 6 - Classroom scene with pupils and master.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
