About the memorial: Five light stained glass window with elaborate tracery above and attendant cast bronze plaque. The window is at the East end, and the plaque is at the centre of the wooden panelling at the west end of the church. The central figure of the window depicts the risen Christ in glory emerging from a vault, with two angels in attendance on each side in the next set of lights. The angels have coloured wings and are in ecclesiastical robes, those on the left having female faces, and those on the right having male faces. The two angels towards the front are holding Christ's grave clothes. In the far left window is depicted a Roman soldier with a lance and a lamp looking over his shoulder at Christ, with a city, perhaps Jerusalem, depicted above him. In the far right window is another Roman soldier, his head resting, asleep, on his shield, with three women seen in front of the empty tomb beneath Golgothaand the three crosses, depicted above him. Across the tops of the outer four lights angels are shown - the inner two holding the ends of a scroll, the centre section of which appears above Christ. On the scroll is written Jesus Honimum Salvator (Jesus, Saviour of Mankind). The central feature of the tracery above is a sexfoil with the Lamb and Flag in the centre, with beams radiating outwards, which are picked up in the lights above and below it. There are angels in the four other lights at the sides, holding a scroll on which is written Blessing Honour Glory Power. To the sides beneath the sexfoil are two cinquefoils, with St John, carrying a staff, depicted to the left, and Our Lady, carrying a lily, to the right. A crown of glory is depicted in a trefoil above the figure of Christ. At the bottom of the centre light angels hold a scroll carrying the set The third day He rose again from the dead, with a Dedication at the very bottom. The cast bronze plaque at the west end is nowy arched, with a corniced top decorated with laurel tresses, which also hang down from the sides, beside the names panel which has a tooled border. A laurel wreath sits between the years of the conflict, and roses divide the Dedication from the four columns of Names. The plane is mounted on an alabaster backboard, mounted within a nowy arched frame at the centre of wooden panelling beneath the West window.
