About the memorial: Originally constructed to flank the three walls of the sanctuary, with carved oak panelling behind the altar and under the windows to the north and south, and the principal elements bearing the Dedication and Names reaching down to where the altar rails and step once were. The church has undergone a major re-ordering, including levelling the floor and removing all other furnishings from the sanctuary and choir. The panels are still in situ, but now seem isolated. The principal elements, tall screens, each made up of three panels. The screen on the South side bears the main dedication in the centre panel, with names on the other two panels. The screen on the North side bears names on all three panels. The top rail of the screens are elaborately carved, with a castellated top, a crown at the centre and grapes and doves out to the sides. A text is carved between the inscription panels and a frieze of carved quatrefoils. The lower part of the panels are decorated with pierced carved quatrefoils.
