About the memorial: Wall mounted, portrait orientated, moulded edge, triangular-headed white stone tablet with shelf at base, all attached to a wall mounted portrait orientated black backboard. Carved in relief, to the lower left of tablet is a soldier, standing with head bowed, holding an inverted (barrel down) rifle. To the lower right of tablet is another soldier standing, blowing a bugle. At the top of the tablet is the dedication, with beneath in the centre of the tablet the list of names, The dedication and names are all incised and picked out in black. The makers name is along the bottom edge of the backboard.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
