If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

WHO FOUGHT WITH DISTINCTION IN THE SOUTH AFRICAN WAR AFTERWARDS SERVING TEN YEARS WITH THE EGYPTIAN ARMY WHERE HE WAS DECORATED WITH THE ORDERS OF THE MEDTIDIEH AND OSMANIEH AND THE BAHR-EL-GHAZAL MEDAL AND CLASP (...) AND DIED IN FLANDERS AGED 40 OF WOUNDS RECEIVED AT THE BATTLE OF MONS 23 AUGUST 1914 ALSO OF HIS ONLY BROTHER EDWARD HENRY LEIGH LIEUTENANT 2ND BATT THE RIFLE BRIGADE WHO FELL IN THE ATTACK ON AUBERS RIDGE 9 MAY 1915 AGED 26 AFTER BEING PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED IN DISPATCHES BOTH BROTHERS WERE EDUCATED AT HARROW AND CAMBRIDGE
