About the memorial: Rough, triangular-shaped, black granite stone, finished on front face, set into a rectangular bed of grey chippings. Inscription is in white, upper and lower-case letters, beneath an RAF crest. Approx. 700 metres west from junction of Borough Lane and High Road (B1115). Turn right down footpath when Borough Lane turns 90 degrees left. It is marked on google maps.
